Meet Dr. Thomas Jacka

Welcome to my practice! Exceeding patient expectations by providing excellent dental care in a gentle, caring manner is my highest priority. I enjoy getting to know patients and making them feel at home in our office. The people of our community are very important to me, and I will always do my best to help my patients be the healthiest and happiest they can.

I love calling the Great Northwest my home! I was raised in Auburn, and received my BA in Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University. I then was accepted into the highly regarded University of Washington School of Dentistry, where I received my DDS in 1981.

Continuing Education

There is so much to learn in this ever-changing dental field. Continual improvement through education allows us to improve the quality of dental care we provide to our valued patients. I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing dental education over the years. Many of those hours were at the University of Washington and from renowned practitioners and lecturers such as Dr. Frank Spear and Dr. John Kois.

Our Practice

I consider my family as my greatest love and accomplishment, and the field of dentistry is a close second. After all these years, I still enjoy dentistry and the patient relationships I have developed over the past 28 years. I exhibit meticulous attention to detail and my natural chairside manner will ease any concerns and lend confidence to decisions patients need to make concerning their dental care.

My entire staff wants to help our patients while also having fun in our office. Our patients can sense their enjoyment, and we often laugh together! Our team truly cares about the well-being of all our patients. They provide timely, efficient dental care with their patients’ comfort as their number one priority.

Outside the Office

My wife, Kristen, and I have raised our three children in the Federal Way area: Janelle graduated from the University of Portland and played collegiate soccer. She is now involved in the Teach for America program in Arizona. Jeffrey attends the University of Idaho, runs track for the school and is involved in the club ski racing program. Kelly also attends the University of Idaho and is a top sprinter on the track team. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, skiing and attending my kids’ sports activities.
